Episode 3: Andrew Mencinsky | 25 July 2025

President Ukrainian Council of NSW

Andrew Mencinsky, President of the Ukrainian Council of NSW, has become a leading advocate for the Ukrainian diaspora in Australia. Beyond his community role, he brings decades of leadership in business transformation, performance improvement, risk, and regulatory projects, with first-hand experience navigating some of the country’s most high-profile financial and gaming public affairs. A graduate of the Australian Graduate School of Management, Andrew was both Valedictorian of the Class of 2004 and recipient of the Chairman’s Award for Corporate Leadership and Management in 2005, recognition from what was then Australia’s most prestigious MBA program. In this conversation, we covered a lot of ground: from identity and resilience in times of conflict, to lessons from business and leadership, to the cultural and personal experiences that shape how communities endure and thrive.
